Joel concentrates his practice in the area of government relations. He has over 30 years' experience in lobbying, regulatory representation, and public affairs involvement. He has received the Distinguished Service Award from the State Bar Association of North Dakota. This is the highest and most prestigious award bestowed by the association, and it honors a member of the profession for outstanding service to the state and legal community over an extended career. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of government relations, administrative/regulatory law, and insurance law. He has also been recognized as a Great Plains Super Lawyer.
Joel is a past officer and board member of State Law Resources, an international network of law firms with special expertise in government relations and administrative law. He is past president of the State Bar Association of ND and has served on the Board of Regents of Concordia College and the Theodore Roosevent Medora Foundation.
As an accomplished recording artist and pianist, Joel has recorded and released five CDs. In addition, he is founder of the Jeremiah Wine Company, which makes and distributes premium wine from the Napa Valley. Joel and his wife, Jan, have two grown children and five grand children.

Levi engages in an active government relations practice, working with state and local decision makers to create solutions on his clients’ behalf. He has a broad array of legislative and executive branch lobbying experience. Levi attended the University of North Dakota School of Law where he graduated with distinction, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and served as editor in chief of the North Dakota Law Review. He then served as law clerk to Chief Justice Gerald W. VandeWalle of the ND Supreme Court.
Before law school, Levi graduated summa cum laude from Concordia College with a bachelor of arts degree in music. He also interned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
He and his wife, Bethany, spent summers performing as Burning Hills Singers in the Medora Musical, and now enjoys serving on the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation's board of directors. He is an active member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota and has received its outstanding chair award for his leadership as chair of the Pro Bono committee. Levi is also an Eagle Scout.
Levi and Bethany are proud parents of three children. They are active members of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and enjoy the arts, food, fitness, being outside, gardening, and family. Levi is a native of Crosby, North Dakota.

Director of Public Affairs
Amy specializes in developing effective public affairs strategies for her clients. She brings over 15 years of experience in campaign management, corporate issue advocacy, and consulting for national political committees. Before joining GA Group, Amy built a successful track record working in over 50 campaigns spanning 42 states.
In 2012, Amy managed Governor Jack Dalrymple’s successful campaign in North Dakota. She then served as Deputy Political Director for the Republican Governors Association. Amy also founded Plain Stakes, LLC, a boutique public affairs and corporate issue advocacy firm by which she executed grassroots and grasstops persuasion programs and public affairs outreach for clients across the Midwest.
Amy serves as a volunteer faculty member of the Leadership Institute and has participated as a delegate with the International Republican Institute. Amy was raised in Arlington, VA, and is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin. In her spare time, she can be found training for her next half marathon or cheering on the Badgers.
